Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

We believe good design should work for everyone, so we want thebrandyard.com to be easy to use for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities and those using assistive technology.

We're working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for accessible websites. Accessibility is ongoing work for us, not a one-time fix, and we review the Site as we add new pages and projects.

What we've done

  • Written descriptive alt text for illustrations and key images

  • Used clear heading structure so pages are easy to navigate with a screen reader

  • Chosen text and background colours with legible contrast

  • Labelled form fields so they can be read by assistive technology

  • Made sure the Site works on mobile and scales with browser zoom

  • Kept our language plain and straightforward

Known limitations

Some parts of the Site may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Portfolio images — some case study images, such as logo walls and packaging shots, may not yet have detailed descriptions

  • Animations and image carousels — some moving elements may not have a pause control

  • Third-party content — our job application form (Typeform) and social media links are run by other companies, and their accessibility is outside our control

We're working to address these. If something gets in your way, please tell us.

Feedback and help

If you have trouble using any part of the Site, or need information in a different format, email hello@thebrandyard.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we'll aim to reply within 5 working days.
